ADCAMAT pressure operated pump PPA-312

The ADCAMAT PPA series, made of carbon steel (stainless steel on request) is recommended for transferring high temperature liquids, such as condensates, oils and others, at a higher elevation or pressure. Under certain conditions, it can drain a closed vessel under vacuum or pressure.

The pump can be operated with steam, air or compressed gas and can be used to lift any type of non-corrosive liquid.

  • Non-electrical requirements.
  • Duplex package design.
  • Stainless steel construction.
  • Level indicator.
  • Stroke counter.

  • For lifting condensate or hot and cold liquids.

  • ADCAMAT PPA312S - carbon steel construction.

  • See IMI - Installation and maintenance instructions.

  • Liquid enters the pump by gravity through an inlet check valve which raises a float which, at the upper limit of its stroke opens the feed valve, allowing steam or compressed air to enter the pump body. The pressure in the pump increases until it is sufficient to overcome the back pressure. The pressurized liquid opens the outlet check valve and discharge begins. When the float reaches the lower minimum level
  • When the float reaches the lower minimum level, it closes the vapor or compressed air supply valve and opens the vent, allowing liquid to refill the pump. Since the amount of liquid discharged on each stroke is known, the total volume flowing during a given period of time can be calculated by counting the number of cycles during that period. For this purpose, there is a special counter that is screwed onto a threaded connection on the top cover of the pump. This counter records the number of pumping strokes, which allows the pump to function as a reliable flow meter.
